Hallmarked in London in 1830 by Robert Hennell II, this wonderful Pair of George IV, Antique Sterling Silver Entree Dishes on silver plated stands, are generously sized with tall domed lids, and feature acanthus decoration to the border and handle, and engraved coats of arms. Each Entree Dish on its stand measures 10″(25.5cm) tall, by 13″(33cm) wide, by 10″(25.5cm) deep, and the pair (without the stands) together weigh 108 troy ounces.
The crest and coat of arms appears to be for a member of the Watson family.
