While the golden age of Thai ceramics ended around the 15-16th Centuries, local craftsmen learned the art through generations, later producing smaller numbers of pieces with different types of clay and glazing techniques. Today, Thailand’s artisans carry the tradition now aided by modern kilns and more diverse glazing techniques, while keeping the handcrafting tradition alive.

This contemporary vase is beautifully finished in a semi-gloss white glaze, with ribbed texture. It measures approximately 6 inches in diameter and 8.75 inches high.
