A good and very rare set of King`s Pattern dessert knives, with a beautiful kings honeysuckle pattern on both sides. See the honeysuckle instead of the more common shell; on both sides of the stem ends,
They would have, originally, had mild steel blades fitted, which would have rusted away a long time ago. Hence the rarity of Georgian knives surviving today. These replacement blades possibly date to the late 19th. century, but have never been used.
The handles are well used, and have a lot of small use marks, but no splits and no dents that would in any way, spoil the set.
A really good set of rare knives.
