Historical Staffordshire blue soup tureen with a view of” The Dix Cove On The Gold Coast of Africa” from Enoch Wood & Sons Irregular Shell border series. Extremely rare centerpiece and one of the hardest pieces to find in the series. This tureen has beautiful crisp transfers and great contrast. Spectacular condition, it measures 14 3/4” across the handles by 11 3/8” tall and dates circa 1825.
