This Georgian hand painted and gilded porcelain spill vase features a gilded oval cartouche filled with a spray of colourful flowers. The cartouche is supported either side by an intricate gilded motif with more gilding to the rim and foot. Immediately below the rim is a gilt frieze of leaves, berries and tendrils. It stands 116 mm (4.5 inches) high and has a diameter of 85 mm (3 3/8ths inches) across the top. It is unmarked. It is in very good condition and would date from around 1820.
