Corner cupboards, particularly hanging ones, are of course a great solution to a room which is lacking storage and already has full walls. This is of course due to the gact they can be mounted in the corner and add a large amount more functional storage to a space which wouldn’t be in use otherwise. They also of course add real elegance and a slightly different dimension.
This is a particularly good, georgian 18th century corner cupboard due to the overall quality of construction and materials. It is constructed from lovely, well figured, rich mahogany timbers which have been very carefully selected and positioned into the elegant panelled door design. There is also attractive satinwood crossbanding to the doors which contrasts beautifully against the mahogany.
Overall the condition is very good, just a few old marks, scuffs, scatches and dents which are to be expected on a piece of furniture which has been well used of this age and all of these blend in perfectly well with the overall look of the piece. It also comes supplied with working lock and key.
As with all items which we list for sale this georgian corner cupboard has received a natural wax polish by our traditional antique furniture restorers before being advertised for sale.
