A large George IV Bat Winged Silver teapot, by William Eley II, London 1823, the pot has a half lobed bat winged body beneath the rim which is decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves and shells. The spout and handle both have acanthus decoration and the wide reeded scroll handle has insulators, the pot stands on a raised on circular foot
