This piece has an absolutely stunning timber patina, I’ve never seen one with the extra drawers to the top section, it really adds another level of class to the piece and of course changes what you can store in it
This is a very high quality bookcase, if you look at the very top you can see elements of Chippendale style carving
In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age related marks and timber patina that you would expect with a 200 year old used piece of furniture
