This is an antique entrance boot scraper. An English, cast iron doorway shoe cleaner, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

Set upon a pair of turned balusters, the generous scraper with a width of 20cm (7.75”)
Oval form to the drip tray with a stout, tiered edge – replete with four mounting holes
