Vintage Design
This coffee table was produced in Italy in the mid-1970s and has a high decorative value. The style of the roughly gouged and carved Italian poplar base is very similar to the signature of Gruppo NP2 by the Turin duo Nerone & Patuzzi.
Design
In fact, the base consists of three panels that are attached to each other with four screws. On these panels we see all kinds of abstract figures that lie deeper in the wood, creating small shadows. The irregular structure of the wood is accentuated by a layer of lacquer, resulting in a deep and sturdy contrast.A modest rectangular glass top rests on the base, so that the aesthetic spectacle underneath always remains visible.
Condition
The condition of the table is good and in accordance with use and age. This includes small scratches.
