Vintage Design
The table has a refined burgundy hue on all the surface of the beech wood. This colour finish was very fashionable in Vienna at the time. The main round table top is hold in the middle by oval bar which is crewed into the smaller decorative base. The base itself is supported by three sphere shaped legs underneath.
This table is truly marvellous example of the sophisticated furniture design of the beginning of the 20th Century.
This piece is in great vintage condition. The recent restoration of the surface has fully revived the rich dark red colour of the entire piece, showing off the beautiful patterns on all its surfaces. The entire piece has been hand finished by Shellac and Nitro varnishes in order to achieve an original gloss finish.
