A rare George III Antique sterling Silver Basket with a frosted white glass liner. The Georgian dessert serving Basket stands on four claw feet with acanthus leaf mounts. The base of the basket has an applied leaf border. The glass liner is of thick, heavy weight glass and has a cut pattern in the base.
Made in London in 1795 by William Pitts & Joseph Preedy.
