Antique George 1V Silver Wine Funnel Dated 1825 By Emes & Barnard of London
Made of a heavy gauge of silver weighing 4.96 Troy Ounces
Made by the prolific London silversmiths Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard
When the spout is removed from the base it has an added feature of a detachable silver ring to
hold the circular muslin for straining in place.
All three pieces are separately hallmarked.
The shell attached to the base is used to hook on to a punch bowl for straining the wine.
