This elegant vase dates to circa 1830. It is made with a bulbous form which rises into a tall slender graduated neck. The colour is an unusual soft pastel green which is decorated with a fabulous hand painted flower display in bright colours further enhanced with rich and intricately hand painted gilt scrolling around the edges and sides.
This vase has come from a private old English collection and is in very good condition but does show signs of possible old restoration to the gilding around the foot. We have taken several photographs to show its finish and condition.
