Born in England during the early years of the 19th century, this exquisite lowboy features a rectangular quarter-veneered top with banding and molded edges, sitting above three drawers echoing the same banded motifs. The apron, scalloped on three sides, visually connects the legs to one another. The padded feet on which the table is raised provide a perfect conclusion to the ensemble. For sale is a good quality 18th century oak lowboy. This piece has an arrangement of four drawers, one long drawer at the top with one short drawer below on either side. Below this is an ornate fretwork frieze. The lowboy stands on four square tapered legs and is in excellent condition having been restored using traditional methods.
