Vintage Design
Baroque console in carved, gilded wood and with marbled top, Piedmont, mid-18th century. Supported by a pair of wavy legs connected to each other by a crosspiece carved in the central part with the face of a cherub, the console features various types of decorations, including curls, ‘C’ shaped volutes, rocaille and plant elements. Completely regilded in the 19th century; deficiencies in the carving.
