This pair of antique knives were made by the renowned silversmith, Paul Storr of England and date to approximately 1807 and done in the period Georgian style. The handles are done in sterling silver with ribbed sides and scalloped details at the top. The blades are constructed of steel and are original which, as you may know, rarely survive but do show some rust as presented. The knife handles are clearly marked “PS” for Paul Storr and hallmarked with the lion passant and date letter. Please note we could have the blades replaced if desired by the buyer, but we have chosen to leave them original to preserve their integrity.
