This rather unusual little occasional table is lovely quality and boasts incredible elegance. Its a most unusual, small Size and woul work perfectly in such a wide variety of different spaces, for such a wide variety of different purposes.
The hinged lid encloses a lined interior, which has been relatively recently relined with fabri, which is therefore in lovely clean condition. If however the purchaser wished to change that fabric for something of their own choosing then that would be a relatively simple task post purchase.
Overall this table is in good, functional condition and is a great little Size.It comes with working lock and key and there are no structural defects or major historical damage to speak of, just the expected old wear and tear for an item which is well over 200 years old.
As with all items which we offer for sale it has been inspected in our workshops, by our highly skilled, trained antique furniture restorers, who have ensured that it is in tip top condition, including a lovely natural wax polish, before being offered for sale.
