What a gem of a table that is like “an extra pair of hands,” for entertaining! But it will never dominate the conversation! This is a George III style rectangular dumb waiter with two tiers. It is beautifully painted, and unlike the round dumb waiters, there is ample display space. The piece is unmarked, and our appraiser says the make is American or English, probably mid 20th Century. It presents beautifully.
Surmounted by two graduated rectangular trays with shaped serpentine and molded-edged rims, on turned baluster and vasiform standard, raised on four down curving fluted saber legs.
The table is 31 inches high, 27 inches wide, and 17 inches deep.
CONDITION: This table is in good cosmetic condition. It was acquired at a recent estate sale in the South Bay. This table creates a stunning display.
